He is not finished...

A lot is happening in our world today... People are shot, battles rage on, our government is slowly getting weaker,disease is spreading, and  the sky has been showing some beautiful but kinda scary signs in the sky. With all these things happening life seems heavy. It reminds me how fleeting life is. Honestly this is depressing. Staying strong is tiring. My hope is slowly fading. Here I am with my whole life ahead of me and yet it seems depressing, Life weighs heavy on my heart. As much as we find security in God. As much as we are excited to be able to dwell with him one day.... the truth is when we see his creation crumbling around us. We are reminded by the world around that life is fleeting and there's nothing we can do to stop it. It rips the hope right out of you. See that's the goal of the enemy. We slowly start to forget about hope and we slowly remember how depressing sin is. "You heavens above, rain down righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness grow with it; I, the Lord, have created it." Isaiah 45:8. See as we get older we  are reminded of a very real world where everything is chaos nothing is in order. If the very one who created the world is holding your hand right now. Then he is in control. This very uncontrollable world. Has always been in control. For he makes all thing work together for our good despite our sin. We may not see God working at all right now, But that does not mean he is not. I heard someone say once that the temptations of this world are even greater than anyone has had to face from the past generations. See God put us in this generation for a purpose, because he knew we could handle it. He placed you in your circumstance,because he knew you could handle it. Hold on to HIM, because he is the only secure unchanging thing in this world. Don't let go. No matter how many times you have sinned. Don't let go. No matter how many times you have lost hope and have gone into the world to find it. Come back. He has broken that chain.  And Every chain you will be tied down to after that. Don't let go. His hand is there to hold. He has provided everything you need. Don't let go. Remember that his love will always abound. We have a hope that sense Christ hasn't come back we know he is not finished yet.

                                       Sunsets always remind me of how the earth we live in is beautiful.
