The Lord looks at the heart of things

Everyday God calls us to walk  on the path of something wether it's giving up something to spend more time with Him  or being joyful or thankful during tough times. No matter what  it is he calls us. But during those times we can reach a fork in the road and we think have to pick the way where we think God is calling us, but, maybe just maybe God is calling is to pick the other path. "Man looks at the outward appearance but The Lord looks at the heart." God looks at our heart and it just encourages me to know that sometimes I will have to pick the path where it seems like God has called us else where but he knows our heart. Thats why his grace is so sufficient for us because he knows are hearts. That's where we don't have to work our way God just knows our heart!
